AI & Automated Decision-Making Transparency Notice

Last updated: May 31, 2026

Cravid Labs LLC is the operator of Fursa (usefursa.com). Cravid Labs LLC is a Wyoming limited liability company with its principal place of business at 30 N Gould St, Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States.

This notice is provided in accordance with GDPR Article 22 (automated individual decision-making, including profiling), EU AI Act Annex III (high-risk AI systems), and the California Privacy Protection Agency (CPPA) Automated Decision-Making Technology (ADMT) Regulations. It explains how Fursa, operated by Cravid Labs, uses artificial intelligence and automated processing in its service, what data is involved, and your rights with respect to these systems.

1. Overview

Fursa uses artificial intelligence — specifically Claude by Anthropic — to process your career data and generate personalized outputs that help you apply for jobs more effectively. AI is central to how our platform functions: it parses your resume, scores how well you match a job, generates tailored resume content, and (when you enable it) automatically submits applications on your behalf.

We believe you have a right to know when AI is making or influencing decisions that affect you, what data the AI uses, and how you can exercise control over these systems. This notice is our commitment to that transparency.

2. How We Use AI

2.1 Resume Parsing

When you upload a resume (PDF, DOCX, or image format), our system uses Claude AI to extract structured data: your name, contact information, work history (employer, title, dates, responsibilities), education, skills, certifications, and other relevant information. This extracted data populates your Fursa profile. Parsing is automated but you may review and correct the extracted data at any time in your profile settings.

2.2 Job Match Scoring

When our system identifies a job posting, it generates a match score (0–100%) representing how well your profile aligns with the role based on skills, experience level, job title, industry, and job description keywords. This score is used to rank and surface relevant jobs in your feed.

2.3 Resume Generation

For each job you choose to apply for, our AI generates a tailored resume and (optionally) a cover letter. The AI rewrites bullet points, reorders sections, and adjusts language to improve ATS compatibility for the specific role — while drawing only from the career data you have provided. No new qualifications are invented; only your real experience is reformulated and emphasized.

2.4 Auto-Application Submission

When you enable auto-apply, the platform automatically submits applications to supported job boards (Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workday, iCIMS, Workable) and fills forms via the Chrome Extension. Auto-apply is an opt-in feature that you control. You can disable it at any time in Settings > Automation.

3. Automated Decision-Making (GDPR Article 22)

GDPR Article 22 gives you the right not to be subject to decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects on you. Here is how each AI feature maps to this framework:

  • Job match scoring is automated but does not produce legal or similarly significant effects on you. The score surfaces jobs for your review — you retain full control over which jobs to pursue. No decision is made about you by an employer based on our match score; the score exists solely to help you prioritize your own search.
  • Resume generation is automated, but you review the output before submission (unless you have explicitly opted into auto-apply). When you review and approve generated content, the decision to submit is yours, not ours.
  • Auto-apply, when enabled, submits applications automatically without your review of each individual submission. This is a convenience feature you explicitly opt into. You can disable it at any time in Settings > Automation. Because auto-apply results in applications being submitted on your behalf, it is the feature most closely resembling automated decision-making under GDPR Art. 22 — and accordingly you have the rights described in Section 6 of this notice.

We do not make employment decisions. Fursa is a tool for job seekers. We do not screen, rank, or assess candidates for employers. Employers make all hiring decisions independently and are not influenced by our AI match scores.

4. EU AI Act Compliance

The EU AI Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689), which began phasing in from August 2024, identifies AI systems used for employment-related purposes as potentially high-risk under Annex III, Category 4 (AI systems used in employment, workers management, and access to self-employment). Systems that profile individuals or make decisions affecting access to employment opportunities may fall within this category.

Our job matching and resume generation systems involve processing of personal career data for employment-related purposes. We are actively implementing the following measures in preparation for full compliance by the August 2, 2026 deadline applicable to Annex III high-risk systems:

  • Technical documentation: Maintaining internal documentation of our AI system’s design, training data characteristics (where applicable), and intended purpose.
  • Bias monitoring: Implementing logging and review processes to detect demographic or other biases in match scoring outputs.
  • Human oversight mechanisms: Ensuring users can review, correct, and override AI outputs at every stage of the workflow.
  • Transparency disclosures: Providing users with meaningful information about how AI affects outcomes — as documented in this notice.
  • Accuracy and robustness: Ongoing evaluation of AI output quality and implementing safeguards against adversarial inputs.

If you have questions about our EU AI Act compliance posture, contact legal@usefursa.com.

5. California ADMT Disclosure (CPPA Regulations)

If you are a California resident, the California Privacy Protection Agency’s Automated Decision-Making Technology regulations require us to make the following disclosures:

  • (a) We use ADMT. We use automated decision-making technology to generate match scores between your profile and job postings, and to generate tailored resume and cover letter content. These systems process your personal information as defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the CPRA.
  • (b) Right to opt out. You have the right to opt out of ADMT that produces legal or other significant effects concerning you. To opt out of automated job scoring and AI-generated resume submissions, contact us at legal@usefursa.com or disable auto-apply in Settings > Automation. Note that opting out of AI features may significantly limit the functionality of the Service.
  • (c) Right to human review. You may request human review of any AI-generated output or any automated decision affecting you by contacting legal@usefursa.com. We will provide a human review within a reasonable timeframe.
  • (d) Privacy risk assessments. We conduct privacy risk assessments before deploying new ADMT features that involve personal information, consistent with CPPA guidance.

6. Your AI Rights

Regardless of your location, you have the following rights with respect to our AI systems:

  • Disable auto-apply: Turn off automated application submission at any time in Settings > Automation.
  • Review and correct parsed data: Review all data extracted from your resume and correct inaccuracies in your profile settings before it is used by the AI.
  • Request human review: Request that a human member of the Cravid Labs team review any AI-generated output by emailing legal@usefursa.com.
  • Request an explanation: Request an explanation of why a particular match score was produced or why a resume was generated in a specific way. We will provide a plain-language explanation within 30 days.
  • Delete AI-generated content: All AI-generated resumes and cover letters associated with your account are deleted when you delete your account. You may also delete individual generated documents from your dashboard.
  • Withdraw consent: You may withdraw consent to AI processing at any time by deleting your account or by contacting legal@usefursa.com. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of prior AI processing.

7. Data Used by AI

The following categories of your personal data are processed by our AI systems (Claude via Anthropic’s API):

  • Your name and professional contact information (for resume header generation)
  • Work history (employers, job titles, dates of employment, responsibilities, and achievements)
  • Education (institutions, degrees, fields of study, graduation dates)
  • Skills, certifications, and languages
  • Projects and portfolio items you have provided
  • The text of the job posting for which a resume or cover letter is being generated
  • Your uploaded resume file content (during parsing)

We do NOT send the following to AI models: your password or authentication credentials, your payment card details or billing history, your government-issued ID documents, your precise geolocation, or any data belonging to other users.

8. AI Provider

Our AI features are powered by Claude by Anthropic (anthropic.com). We access Claude through Anthropic’s API. Anthropic processes data sent through the API subject to their Privacy Policy and API Usage Policy. Under Anthropic’s API terms, data sent through the API is not used to train Anthropic’s models. We rely on this commitment from Anthropic and do not separately use your data to train any AI models.

9. Bias & Fairness

We do not use protected characteristics — including race, color, national origin, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, age, disability, pregnancy, or veteran status — as inputs to job matching scores or resume generation. Our AI systems are designed and instructed to produce outputs that are neutral with respect to these characteristics.

If you believe our AI has produced a biased, discriminatory, or otherwise problematic output, please report it to legal@usefursa.com with a description of the output and the context in which it occurred. We will investigate all reports and, where bias is confirmed, take corrective action including prompt updates, output filtering, or model configuration changes.
